This mapping tool generates a semantic map of MeSH*
terms based on their semantic relationships. Enter a medical
concept term (for example: heart diseases) and choose how many
terms you would like to display on the map (either 25, 50, 75
or 100), the system will generate an interactive map for you.
You then can click on any term that appears on the map to generate
a new map for that term. This iterative process can be continued
to explore concept relationships.
* MeSH stands for"Medical Subject
Headings" -- the controlled vocabulary thesaurus created
and managed by the National Library of Medicine.
