System Requirements

CiteSpace requires Java Runtime 1.6 or higher on your computer. Click here to test if you have the right version of Java installed on your computer. If necessary, click here to download the latest Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to your computer.

 

Data

CiteSpace requires data files in the ISI Export Format. Three sample datasets are provided in the table below. CiteSpace provides some functions to convert data in other format.

Demo

Once the graphical user interface of CiteSpace appears, you will see a preloaded demo project on terrorism research. Simply press the GO button in CiteSpace to start the demo project. A short and out-of-date demo video based on an earlier version is accessible either from here or, from CiteSpace -> Help -> Demo Video.
